DIY costume: Danny and sandy from grease

So this Sunday was our big Halloween outing at our local nashville zoo called the ghouls at grassmere. My sweet boy was Olaf. But me and my husband wanted to dress up as well. Well it's no secret I have a sweet love for grease so I thought why spend money when I have everything we need at home to pull off the epic look at the end of grease! 

  

I already had leather pants from last year. And I took an old black top and cut the neck of it off so I could hang it off my shoulders. And I had some red shoes I got from target that are still available. My husband wore a pair of dress pants he had (you can also find then at goodwill)

And a black tee he had hanging around.

I think we did a pretty good job of nailing it. We had such a blast. And he was such a good sport about it.
