DIY costume: Danny and sandy from grease

So this Sunday was our big Halloween outing at our local nashville zoo called the ghouls at grassmere. My sweet boy was Olaf. But me and my husband wanted to dress up as well. Well it's no secret I have a sweet love for grease so I thought why spend money when I have everything we need at home to pull off the epic look at the end of grease! 

  

I already had leather pants from last year. And I took an old black top and cut the neck of it off so I could hang it off my shoulders. And I had some red shoes I got from target that are still available. My husband wore a pair of dress pants he had (you can also find then at goodwill)

And a black tee he had hanging around.

I think we did a pretty good job of nailing it. We had such a blast. And he was such a good sport about it.

Tan 2000 lol. It was a tanning bed job but I seriously loved it. I never missed a single day of work. I loved my boss and my clients!! The day it closed I cried and cried! I still keep in touch with my old boss to this day :)

October haul : makeup products

So this has been an interesting month of spending my money ha! I have found lots of goodies this month that I'm actually going to have to split my hauls into two different blogs... Score ha!! So tonight we will do the makeup things that I have bought and currently loving!!!! I'm going to try to go through this as quickly and painlessly as possible. Let's get started!!

This stuff is my life savor. It's so creamy and doesn't cake after hours of wearing.

So I have heard good and bad things about this so I decided to try it on my own. I will let you know what I think later on next month but so far so good.

Glam glow thirsty mud hydrating treatment: I've been wanting to try this but haven't wanted to spend the money on it unless I know it's going to work! So I got a sample and literally with just two uses can tell a huge diffrence in my skin. It's freaking amazing!

Elizabeth james nirvana perfume oil: so I haven't hid my love for this stuff ha! It's amazing. And this last all day!

DIY hair dying.

I dyed my own hair again. The last color didn't last very long which was a super bummer :/ so I decided to go a little darker with the red so I decided to use ion medium intense red from sallys and used 20 volume developer. 

I use a whole tube of dye and half the bottle of a small developer.

It really is scary and misleading when it's in the bowl like this.

I split my hair off into 4 sections so that way I make sure I get every inch of my hair and roots.

I let it sit for about 35 to 40 mins. 

And wha la medium intense red from ion. Again it was a tiny bit darker than I'm use to but I like it for the fall and it makes my eyes crazy green!! I think the next time I'm going to add a little extra red to it.

Favorites and purchases for the month of September

Can you belive yesterday was the first day of October. Halloween is this month! I can't belive it. I can still remember what Jack was for Halloween last year (not to mention how tiny I was then :/ ) this year seriously has flew by. I'm always left wondering where the time has gone!!!

Loving this stuff. I saw it on a YouTube channel that I love (Nicole Guerrero) and decided to try it myself and I love it. You just simply spray it on whatever body part your tanning and then use the brush to spread it in. I usually use before bed and the color I wake up with is beautiful. Bought at milliondollartan.com
