Happy Tuesday. I haven't felt very well today but that doesn't slow this mommas errands from needing to be done! So I went for casual and comfy today.

Sotd and ootd

It's a beautiful Saturday and we are up bright and early to head out to find more stuff for our sweet little house. I may go back to the flea market and grab some things in think I can't live without lol! 

UNDERTOP- forever21 ( I love there cheap tanks) 

Sweater- American eagle (bought from a vintage store downtown)

SHORTS- American eagle (bought 2 years ago) 

 And the shoes!!!!!

Moccasins!!!!! No name brand because my step momma bought them for me at a Indian shop in gatlinburg (I had to get bit by a dog to get them haha long story) 

I have had these shoes since 2010 and they have been through hell and back and not a stitch on these shoes has come undone. The store is sadly not there anymore :( or I would definitely go back and by a pair for every season.

What do you do on your Fridays?

I started my new job Monday (which I love) and I only work Monday -Thursday! I'm living my dental team and my patients!! That being said I always wondered what I would do on my down day. And this is it folks 

 

 Mask of magnamity from lush. 

It literally pulls out all of the gunk and grime from your pours seriously my face feels so refreshed after I use this product but I only use it once a week so what better day to do it then my down day :) 

I'm also enjoying my favorite season of sex and they city season four!!!!

It's been a great Friday so far and later I will be having sister day with my sis with a little bit of flea marketing!!!

April haul!!!

So here lately I have been trying  to putting better things into my body. I think we have touched on this before. So I recently came across lush products and lets just say I'm a lush girl for life now. They don't test on animals and their products don't have all those harsh chemicals. Also I've been experimenting more with m.a.c products as well. With summer coming and season changing it had thrown my face into over drive. Talk about an oil slick my friends including my hair. Here are some of the products I have been using lately that have been doing wonders for my face. I'll share photos of the products and then try to give you a little run through if what exactly they do:

Coalface. Bought at lush 

Dark angels facial cleanser.bought at lush 

 Ro's Argan body conditioner bought at lush 

 Vanilla puff dusting powder.bought at lush 

 Butterball bath bomb bought at lush 

Seanik shampoo bought at lush 

Soak and float bought at lush. 

And one random but from m.a.c 

 M.a.c. Mineralized charged water. 

Alright all about the products!!!!

Coalface:  Its a charcoal face wash bar. And I love this. The rought texture (not to rought) really leaves my face feeling so clean. My husband even complimented me on my glowing skin. If you are battling acne and oil I would defiantly try this. I use this every day in the shower.

Dark angels face wash: is again anothe charcol face wash it leaves my face feeling very clean and glowing from with in. It also leaves my face with a matte feeling. Which is wonderful for controlling my oil through the day. I love this. I use this every morning before I do my makeup. 

Ro argans body conditioner:

Let me start off by saying this stuff smells like heaven. It's a little on the thick side but it's amazing. You apply it while in the shower then rinse. I usually use it right before I step out of the shower and it leaves your skin feeling so smooth. And the smell last all day.

Vanilla puff:

This stuff smells amazing and I hate the smell of vanilla. It's a very clean scent. I usually put on when ever I get out of the shower. 

Butterball bath bomb:

Talk about leaving your skin feeling like skin and super moisturized. I didn't even have to moisturize after I got out of the shower. My skin felt amazing and smelt do good.

Seanik shampoo bar- 

It's made of sea salt so it leaves my hair feeling big and voulmized it's amazing.

Soak and float:

Not gonna lie it smells straight up like a campfire and it's a strong smell. It cuts down on the grease and leaves my hair feeling super shiney!!! 

M.a.c mineralized charged water:

When I went into Mac and told them about my oil problem they told me my face was hydrated. Say what?!?! But ive been sprizing my face with this before applying my makeup and I can tell a huge difference! It's like a miracle and it also has dimonds pieces in it so it really makes my face glow. 

And that is all friends :) another month, money spent and items shared!

Good Friday.

It's been a beautiful Friday. I got some quality sister time in and even more time with my best friend. Who gave me beautiful hairs yet again. Seriously if you live in Nashville Hit her up. Fantastic SAMs in mt.juliet, and ask for Amie You will not be disappointed

Warning: sappy momma moment

Last night as I lay in bed after rocking and telling my boy how much his momma loves every inch of him it donged on me that I'm getting ready to tell my sweet boy next month happy SECOND birthday! Where did the time go? I can still remember the first time I felt him kick. I remember finding out that I was going to be a momma to a boy. But what I really remember was when they placed that sweet little 7 pound baby in my arms. That sweet little face. 

See.. I never wanted to be a mother.EVER. When I took the pregnancy test I cried and cried out in horror. How could this be happening to me. I had been with my husband (boyfriend at the time) for 5 years prior and we had always been so careful on top of me being on the depo shot. But there I was pregnant. 

I had hands down one of the easiest pregnancies. I actually LOST my appetite the first three months. I would drink a boost shake a day to make sure baby got all the nutrients he needed. I never craved anything odd. And I never over ate. I gained 17 pounds all together most was water weight. It wasn't till I had to have a c-section that things went a little down hill for about a month (will touch on that later). 

But here I am a momma and I love every second of it. I have birth to what is probably the happiest baby on earth. Even when he was born he didn't really cry. To this day he still doesn't. Don't get me wrong that kid has his moments but for the most part he is so calm and laid back. He is loving. He is got such a sweet nature about him. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He loves to just be. I believe god knew what he was doing when he gave me that boy cause ultimately he saved me life. The things I have accomplished I. The last two years has been soley for him.  I would put my life on the line for him if I had to. He's my baby boy. My life wouldn't have as much meaning with out him by my side. I don't leave him to go out on the weekends. I actually can't remember the last time I went out and left him home. (Yes I know that was my New Years resolution needless to say it ain't working out to well) 

. My fun is being with him. 

It makes me sad to watch him turn another year older but also makes me proud to watch him grow and grow. Everyday is a new adventure and everyday he teaches my heart something new.

I had a doctors appointment and an eye doctor appointment today. So I wanted to be as comfy as I possibly could. My sister said my outfit was very circa "nirvana era" and hey I'm not mad at that :)

Music is my therapy #5 with a little spice!!

So we are going to spice up Aprils month of music!! This month I'm going to give you 5 lyrics to songs that I love!! Seriously I only listen to these songs for their lyrics because they get my heart everytime. And I'm also going to included lyrics to a whole song I listen to quite a lot due to every. Single. Word I that song hits home :) it's kinda funny that most songs are rock except 2 are country. And then at the ends I'll add my 5 songs I'm loving just this month. Thought we would spice it up a little. The weather has been getting warmer and we are heading into summer and I couldn't be more thrilled!! Happy April y'all!!!

Running errands on this gorgeous day! And yes I'm taking pictures in my sons room lol. Our sweet house has the worst lighting. His room has the best since his room is already very bright!!

Crazy 8 #2 April addition

Welcome to April my friends! I hope this month is everything you want and more!!! In ready for beautiful flowers and gorgeous weather. Summer is right around the corner and I couldn't be happier!

Here's 8 more facts about me to kick off our month of April. 

1. I love to go goodwilling! I love the rush of a good find haha!

2.  I have over 100 eyeshadow but rarely wear makeup.

3. I'm a born and raised nashvillian and so proud of that fact.

4. I have had the same best friend since I was 6 years old. I know everyone in here family and vice versa. I love and adore them all.

5. I'm constantly freezing so winter is brutal for my husband because I keep the house right around 85 degrees... Oopsie.

6. I can not sleep without a fan on even in the dead of winter.

7. I'm amadectrious. I can use both my hands. This is NOT a plus in the dental world so I literally have to sit on one hand so I don't use both to grab instruments to use on the patient.

8. I use to have a habit of never being satisfied with my outward apprence. I felt I'm never tan enough. Or my hair isn't long enough. Or my teeth aren't white enough. But I'm trying to break out of that mold of what society thinks is gorgeous and go with what I think is gorgeous instead. I'm to old to care what anyone thinks of me :)
