This week is almost over thank god. And this is my Friday! So time to kick off the scrubs put some real clothes on and head out to run errands!!!!!

Ootd happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day. Military runs deep in my blood starting with my father who served in the army my grandfather who was in the navy and my uncle who was a marine. I was taught to respect my country but most importantly respect those who serve it! So many lay their lives on the line, leave their family's behind and sacrifice more than we will ever be able to comprehend and do it so selflessley. I can't watch a military movie without bawling my eyes out. I also respect the woman and men who love a solider! But lost importantly those who have lost a husband, and wife, a dad, a mom, a brother, a sister or a son or a daughter. My heart is with them today. And I smile remembering my sweet grandfather. God bless them all on this holiday.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! It's Sunday and this weekend has gone by way to fast! It started out with Friday being my birthday! I'm officially 28 yrs older. I had one of the best birthdays to date. Now it's time to settle down on this sweet Sunday.

Music is my therapy #6

It's MAY!!!!!! My favorite month because it's not only my birthday month but my sons birthday month as well (out birthdays are 7 days apart :) so another month means another month of my music favs. After working two jobs im constantly in my car (or so it feels like) so I have heard a ton of good stuff recently so narrowing this down to just 5 was hard! Love to you all!!!!

Anothe crazy 8 May style!!

It's May!!  Can you believe it? It's another month gone by so you know what that means! Time for random 8's :) 

1. I have a serious serious obsession with Elvis Presley! My mother loved him so I grew up listening to him and kinda associate him with her. I have a sleeve of tattoos dedicated to mostly elvis which in turn is honoring my mother.

2. I work two jobs. One at a dentist and the other at a boat marina. The marina is my favorite because I have my regular customer that I adore and  everyone I work with I just love. We are like one huge dysfunction family. I started there last summer and swore I wouldn't return this summer and well needless to say me along with everyone else have return lol.

3. My grandparents had a love like none I have ever seen before. I can't watch the notebook without thinking of them because after my grandmother died my grandfather went after her 11 months to the day. He just couldn't live without her. I hope me and Chris will have that!!!! 

4. The woman I call my "step mother" had never been married to my dad or even dated my dad. As a matter of fact they don't even get along vey well ha! She babysat me starting when I was 6 weeks old and never left. She pretty much raised me. Lately We bump heads more than we get along but I'm forever grateful for her. 

5. I hate the smell of vanilla perfume!! Yuck lol

6. I love the smell of roses!

7. I could watch the wizard of oz over and over and over again.

8. I still crank nirvana up and drive around town!! I LOVE them. And yes I do believe Courtney killed kurt!!!

After what seemed like the longest Monday ever. I quickly changed out if my scrubs put my flippy floppys on and headed to the tanning bed. I know I know i contradicted myself but my skin was starting to be see through!!! Happy Monday!!!!!
